Clean-up Day June 22, 2019

On Saturday June 23, 2018 about 40 helpers travelled from as far away as Meaford, Windsor, Woodstock and London to help get the camp looking good for the soon-arriving staff and campers! Long grass and low branches were trimmed, firewood was cut and stacked, cobwebs and dust were swept away! An old building is getting new life.  And we all enjoyed a delicious lunch. The executive commitee of the Brotherhood of Anglican Church Men joined the work party in the morning, touring the camp after lunch to see first-hand where they might be able to support the camp ministry, and especially our Camper Bathroom Project.  Thanks to everyone who pitched in. While it may have been overcast and a bit rainy at times, several brave souls did go for a quick swim. (brrrrrrrr) At around 4 pm the sun came out and shone over this beautiful, green and growing, holy place.

Please plan on joining us on Saturday June 22, 2019 from 9 am - 4 pm for this season's clean-up. Check back for more details in May and let us know you are coming as we provide lunch.
